2. What data we process
2.1 Server log files
When you access our website, your browser automatically sends information to our server, which is temporarily stored in log files: IP address, date and time of access, name and URL of the file retrieved, the browser used and, where applicable, the operating system, as well as the referrer URL. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the stability and security of the website).

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (handling your enquiry).

Our website uses cookies. Technically necessary cookies (e.g. to store your language setting via WPML and your cookie consent) are set on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and § 25 (2) TDDDG. We process personal data in order to provide and securely operate the website, respond to your enquiries, analyse the use of the website (only with consent) and comply with legal obligations.
4. Recipients and processors (Art. 28 GDPR)
To provide our services we use carefully selected service providers with whom data processing agreements are in place:
- Hosting: IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany – operation of the web space and servers.
- Content Delivery Network / caching: QUIC.cloud (LiteSpeed) – delivery and acceleration of the website, processing IP addresses.
- Cookie consent management: CookieYes – management of your cookie consents.
- Google Fonts, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (see section 5).
5. Google services and transfer to third countries
This website uses Google Fonts, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (provider: Google Ireland Limited). Analytics services and externally loaded fonts are only loaded after your consent. Personal data (in particular IP address, usage data) may be transferred to Google servers, including in the USA (Google LLC). The transfer takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a), Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR) and, where applicable, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google Analytics is used with IP anonymisation. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
6. Retention period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods (in particular under commercial and tax law). Server log files are generally deleted or anonymised after a short period. Enquiries submitted via the contact form are deleted once they have been processed, provided no retention obligations apply.

Our website is delivered via an encrypted TLS connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access.
8. Your rights under the GDPR
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21).
